Mark Wallace, a Texas native from Gatesville, grew up on his family’s ranch. He earned a BA in Accounting and Economics from the University of North Texas. During his studies, Mark deployed to Afghanistan in 2013 in support of Operation Enduring Freedom. After his return, he completed his degree in 2016, followed by additional coursework in 2017 to meet CPA eligibility requirements. In 2019, he attained the Business Certified Appraiser (BCA) designation, to better support clients with business acquisitions and sales. Mark joined Wallace Accounting & Advisory in 2015, focusing on tax, accounting, and business consulting, and became a partner in 2020. In 2024, he founded Redbud Tax & Advisors, leveraging his extensive background in small business management and consulting to deliver customized growth strategies and tax efficiency.
Outside of work, Mark enjoys spending quality time and traveling with his wife, Amy, and their 2 kids. A motorsports enthusiast, he attends races with his son whenever possible, while proudly supporting his daughter’s progress in ballet. Mark and his son also share a passion for Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, where he has achieved the rank of blue belt. Dedicated to community service, Mark serves on the boards of three local nonprofit organizations. In his downtime, he enjoys perfecting the art BBQ for friends and family and relaxing by the pool.
Myrna Villanueva is the Business Development & Operations Director at Redbud Tax & Advisors, bringing a wealth of expertise in accounting, customer service, and Client onboarding. She earned her BA in Business Management & Human Resources at the University of Texas in El Paso, where she enjoyed the vibrant college life, tailgating and savoring great ribs with friends.
With a MBA in Finance From the University of EUDE in Madrid, Spain, and currently pursuing a Doctorate in Business from the University of Broward in Miami, Florida, she plays a key role in ensuring new Clients have a seamless experience while overseeing the firm’s day-to-day operations. Her background in accounting and HR allows her to skillfully manage the business’s financial and human aspects.
In her free time, Myrna enjoys traveling, indulging in fine wine, and savoring Italian cuisine. She is passionate about learning and tackling new challenges, and she brings dedication and enthusiasm to everything she does.
Carlos Villanueva is the Onboarding Manager at Redbud Tax & Advisors, bringing over 17 years of experience in accounting and administrative roles to the firm. Carlos began his career as a junior accountant, where his passion for accounting fueled his rapid professional advancement. Over the years, he has refined his expertise in various industries, including lodging, education, pharmaceutical, food services, and now in his role at Redbud Tax & Advisors.
Carlos holds a BA and plays a pivotal role in welcoming new clients to the firm. He expertly manages the onboarding process while also serving as an Account Manager, ensuring that every client receives personalized attention and exceptional service from the outset. His extensive experience in financial management, billing, and account reconciliation ensures that clients’ financial needs are not only met but exceeded.
Carlos firmly believes that numbers are a powerful tool when presented clearly and in a way that clients can use to their advantage. He is committed to tailoring financial reports to suit the unique needs of each client, empowering them to leverage financial insights for growth and success. In his free time, Carlos enjoys unwinding by attending concerts of his favorite band, where he can immerse himself in the music he loves. As a drummer himself, playing the drums is one of his favorite hobbies, allowing him to express his creativity and passion for rhythm. When he’s not at a concert or behind the drum set, Carlos enjoys relaxing with a cold beer and spending quality time with close friends, appreciating the simple joys of good company and conversation.
Amitai Jimenez is a seasoned financial expert with over 20 years of extensive experience across accounting, finance, auditing, and administrative roles. She has built a remarkable career in diverse sectors, including real estate, hospitality, and public services. Her MBA in Finance provides her with the strategic insight needed to deliver exceptional service.
As part of the Redbud Tax & Advisors team, she plays a vital role in helping clients navigate complex accounting regulations, focusing on ensuring that the numbers are real and useful for decision-making.

Valentín Rosales brings a wealth of diverse experience and over 12 years of expertise to his role as an Accountant at Redbud Tax & Advisors. With a background that spans education, administration, engineering, and financial management, Valentín ensures new clients are seamlessly integrated into the firm’s services while receiving personalized care from the outset.
Valentín’s career journey is marked by a broad skill set, including teaching, team coordination, and administrative management. He has developed advanced knowledge in financial processes, workload management, programming automation tools using VBA, and client service optimization.
